Frequently Asked Questions
Q: My roof looks okay from the ground, how do I know if there is sufficient damage to warrant filing a claim?A: Often roof damage cannot be seen from the ground. A Storm Damage Specialist will perform a thorough Damage Assessment of your roof. If it's questionable, a Public Adjuster will look at it. Our Specialists and Public Adjusters have been doing this for years with great success. You are in good hands with NV Roofing & Restoration LLC.
Q: How do you know which contractor is best for you?A: Most contractors accept insurance estimates without determining if all the damage has been properly covered. NV Roofing & Restoration LLC is a general contractor who is committed to handling all aspects of your restoration project. Not just the roof!
Q: How does the process work?A: Typically, homeowners get a repair estimate and check from their insurance company. They will then look for contractors to do the work. But what if not all the damage is covered or is underpaid?
The biggest problem today is getting your insurance claim properly paid. A licensed public adjuster has the knowledge and expertise to get your claim properly paid. He will review the insurance adjuster's paperwork, point out the deficiencies and write a proper repair estimate. This will allow you to get your claim properly paid and all your damages covered. Q: How does NV Roofing & Restoration LLC get paid?A: We work with an agreement that allows us to do the work only if the insurance company approves the claim. If the claim is denied or insufficiently funded, the agreement terminates automatically.

Q: But won't filing a claim raise my insurance premium?A: Hail/Wind Damage claims are known as No Fault Claims (NFC). Since you can't exactly build a force field around your home, there is no way for you to prevent the damage, unlike a tree in your yard falling from lack of maintenance, or a grease fire in the kitchen. So the answer is NO, your insurance carrier cannot raise your individual premium due to filing a storm damage claim.
Q: Do you offer a workmanship warranty?A: NV Roofing & Restoration LLC warrants that for a period of five (5) years that the installation of the roofing system will be free from workmanship defects that result in leaks. Workmanship is defined as the actual process and procedure by which the roofing system is installed.
Public AdjustersWhy a Public Adjuster?
Public Adjuster involvement typically results in a larger payment to policy holders. This allows you to get the repairs you are entitled to.
What is a Public Adjuster?
Public Adjusters are insurance adjusters who work solely for the policy holder and not the insurance carrier.
How does that differ from other adjusters?
Company or "independent" adjusters work for the insurance company, not you. An independent adjuster is likely working for many different insurance companies simultaneously.
Why does it matter?
It means Public Adjusters protect your interest when negotiating on your behalf with the insurance companies.
